How to log in to cPanel

Updated May 21, 2026

cPanel is the control panel where you manage your hosting account — files, databases, email, DNS, SSL and so on.

From the client area (easiest)

  1. Log in to your client area.
  2. Open My Services.
  3. Click Log in to cPanel on the service you want — no extra password needed.

Direct URL

Go to https://yourdomain.com/cpanel or https://yourdomain.com:2083. Use the cPanel username and password from your welcome email.

Lost your cPanel password

Open the service in the client area and click Reset password. A fresh password is generated and emailed to you.

Troubleshooting

  • "Connection refused" — your DNS hasn't propagated yet. Use the server hostname from the welcome email instead.
  • Wrong password — copy-paste it; the auto-generated ones contain symbols that look like letters.
  • Blocked by firewall — your IP may be temporarily blocked after wrong attempts. Wait 15 minutes or open a ticket.
