Terms of Service
The agreement that governs your use of Web Hosting Kashmir products and services.

By signing up for or using any Web Hosting Kashmir ("WHK", "we", "us") service, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
1. Services
WHK provides web hosting, domain registration, email hosting, cloud servers, web design and related services as described on our website. Service-specific terms (e.g., uptime guarantees, resource allowances) are stated on each product page.
2. Account & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent.
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information at signup and keep it updated.
- You're responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use our services for:
- Sending unsolicited commercial email (spam) or operating mailing lists without verifiable opt-in.
- Hosting illegal, infringing, malicious or fraudulent content.
- Distributing malware, phishing pages or running attack tools.
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared/reseller hosting.
- Activities that adversely impact server stability or other customers' experience.
Violation of this clause may result in suspension or termination without refund.
4. Resource use
"Unmetered" or "unlimited" plans are subject to fair-use limits to protect shared resources. We will contact you if your usage requires upgrading to a more appropriate plan.
5. Payment & renewal
- Plans are billed in advance for the term you select (monthly, annually, biennially).
- Renewals are automatic unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Prices may change at renewal - we'll notify you in advance.
- All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST in India).
6. Refunds & money-back guarantee
Hosting plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee for new customers. Domain registrations, transfers and renewals are non-refundable once processed (registry fees are not recoverable). VPS/cloud servers are pro-rated.
7. Uptime guarantee & service credits
We target 99.99% uptime on shared and business plans. If we fall below this in a calendar month, you may request service credits under our SLA - details available on request.
8. Backups
We maintain rolling backups of customer data on a best-effort basis. You are ultimately responsible for keeping independent backups of critical data.
9. Termination
You may cancel any time from your client area. We may suspend or terminate your service for breach of these Terms, abusive behaviour towards staff, or non-payment.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WHK's liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the fees paid by you in the 6 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages including lost profits or data.
11. Intellectual property
WHK retains all rights to our software, branding and content. You retain all rights to content you upload, and grant us a limited license to host and serve it as needed to provide the service.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
