Most people overthink this. Use the three questions below.
1. How many websites?
- One site — the starter plan is enough.
- 2 to 10 sites — pick a plan that allows multiple add-on domains.
- You sell hosting to clients — look at a reseller plan (each client gets a separate cPanel).
2. How much traffic?
- Under 30,000 visits a month — shared hosting handles this comfortably.
- 30,000 to 200,000 visits — business / turbo plans (more CPU and RAM).
- More than that, or a slow store — cloud or VPS so you are not sharing resources.
3. Do you want managed WordPress?
If your site is WordPress and you don't want to think about backups, caching or PHP versions, a managed plan is worth the small upgrade.
Still not sure?
Start small. All plans can be upgraded in one click from the client area without downtime — there is no penalty for starting on the cheapest plan and moving up later.
